Working on Capitol Hill is fierce, demanding, and often times thankless. It also taught me business acumen and strategic decision making in a way that is incomparable to other careers. In a less glamorous version of the Devil Wears Prada, I worked my way up from junior level staff to a senior team member and a trusted advisor to the most active members in the U.S. Senate. Under constantly changing priorities, I built strategic plans that ensured the Senator and our office engaged with all stakeholders in the most effective and authentic ways possible. Essentially, Capitol Hill’s version of an integrated marketing strategy.

Recognized as a key hire and senior leader, I informed the overall influencer strategy for a 2016 Presidential campaign. I managed over 100 key relationships for the presidential candidate and identified key target collaborations and opportunities in order to generate awareness across all channels.

Measuring ROI of marketing investment is challenging, especially for banks. At J.P. Morgan, I developed event strategies, designed exclusive client opportunities and managed content that has driven business. I was part of a team that developed new ways to measure the ROI of these efforts on business results by creating a data model that supported regional growth.
